Part II of Gandys London SS19

My sunburnt nose has just about recovered from my latest shoot with Gandys, the brand I’m sure you’ve seen me talk about both here and on my Instagram. This year, instead of doing just one SS19 shoot, they decided to do two to get more content from different places. A dream for me to come along on! Not only did we get to shoot on beautiful Lanzarote, but now also on the beaches and cliffs in southern Portugal. We stayed one night less than we normally do, and had four models instead of six, but still got a lot done. They also had some new product categories such as caps and bum bags, which was really fun to shoot. We shot during both sunrises and sunsets, and rested a bit during the day. This provided me with amazing light opportunities, as we avoided the harsh sunlight.

One thing that always makes Gandys photos stand out, is that we all go the extra mile to get the greatest location, and best result. To suit their brand vision with an adventurous lifestyle and living to the fullest, we try to find locations that are just outside where the tourist would go. It’s definitely a bit scary at the time, especially if it involves heights, but always so worth it. The places I’ve seen on the Gandys shoots are some of the most amazing views I’ve come across so far.

The colours in Portugal were also stunning, and I loved finding matching colours from the nature to go with the products. This year has started better than I could ever have imagined with so much travelling and we’re just half way into 2019. And there’s more to come!
